NAVTEQ Chosen as Map Data Provider for the Bushnell ONIX 200 GPS

CHICAGO, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT) , a leading global provider of digital maps for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, announced today that Bushnell, a global manufacturer of outdoor consumer products, has selected NAVTEQ(R) map data of the United States and Canada for its new digital navigation series, the ONIX 200 and ONIX 200CR.

Bushnell makes its debut in the digital navigation space by launching the ONIX 200 navigation devices for the outdoor enthusiast. Each battery-operated handheld, the grayscale ONIX 200 model and the color screen ONIX 200CR, offers pedestrian friendly navigation. The ONIX series combines GPS technology with NAVTEQ's comprehensive digital map data of North America bringing users optimal routing capability. A robust guidance tool, navigators can also layer satellite and aerial imagery and other course-plotting features on top of NAVTEQ map data to calculate routes.

Each GPS device comes with an SD card pre-loaded with comprehensive NAVTEQ digital maps of the US and Canada allowing for seamless travel throughout North America. Users of the ONIX 200 will also gain access to NAVTEQ's extensive Points of Interest (POI) database which includes millions of high interest destinations such as restaurants, hotels, leisure facilities and gas stations.

The ONIX 200 is available now at recreational resellers and hunting and fishing retail outlets and retails at $249.99 US. The ONIX 200CR will be available at retailers in $299.99 in the spring of 2007.
